What Is HBO Max?
This article introduces you to the streaming service, HBO Max. HBO Max is a streaming service created in a partnership between WarnerMedia and Time Warner. Both own companies that produce HBO shows.
The cost of the service is comparable to other streaming services like Disney Plus, Netflix, and Peacock TV. It offers a library of over 50 years worth of content from all over the world. Here’s how to create an account, pay for a subscription, and activate HBO Max on devices.

Overview
- HBO Max costs $15/month without ads or $10/month with ads.
- The service offers everything on HBO’s cable channel, plus exclusive shows and additional movies.
- The ad-free plan also lets you watch new Warner Bros. films on the same day they debut in theaters.
How Much Does HBO Max Cost?
HBO Max costs $15 for ad-free streaming or $10 per month for ad-supported streaming. Subscribers can save 16% by signing up for an annual subscription for either plan. An annual ad-free plan is $150, and an annual ad-supported plan is $100.
